Training will include:
· Overview of current psychiatric medication treatments for Anxiety Disorders & Trauma & Stress Related Disorders (PTSD) & OCD.
· Case presentations will provide for application of course material and forum for discussion.
This training is designed to help you:
· Compare pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.
· Assess pharmacological mechanism of action of psychiatric medications for the above disorders.
· Discuss side effects, risks, benefits and alternatives of psychiatric medications for the above disorders.

Her background in Osteopathic Medicine strongly supports her holistic approach to care; integrating medications, therapy and complementary treatments as appropriate. Ardis Martin, MD - Board Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist. She enjoys taking a holistic and integrative approach to treatment, incorporating different treatment techniques and modalities and working collaboratively with patients and families to develop the most positive outcomes. She has clinical experience specializing in pediatric and adult psychopharmacology and psychotherapeutic techniques (CBT, Play Therapy, and Individual Psychodynamic Therapy).
